Event

You can create events such as author visits, book signings, storytime hours, and book clubs. You can easily add in-person (in-store or off-site) and virtual events and connect events to books and products.

An Events Page curates events automatically in list and calendar views. The calendar view displays event details on the same page, making navigating easier for visitors. You can also feature events on other pages. Upcoming events that are promoted display in the footer.

You can create single-day events that happen once, like author visits and store celebrations, or recurring events that repeatedly occur on specified schedules, like storytime hours and book clubs. Recurring events are created as a series, with each event occurrence saved as an event instance that you can edit separately from the series.

Site Administrators and Content Editors can create, edit, and delete events.

Before adding an event, creating Event Tags is recommended.

Select Create in the left menu, then select Event to create events.
